FIRST HALES TURBINE UNITS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The improvements to the  baffles and drive system to the Hales Water Flow Test and Demonstration Tank are now complete and refilling began this week with 32,000 litres of water.
Also the final design drawing in Solid Works have been completed by DHH Engineering, Eastbourne, East Sussex and orders have been sent to several UK suppliers for the special parts to be produced.

The design work has involved not only producing an environmentally friendly but effective water turbine, but also  a rugged long lasting device that  can be transported flat pack , be simple to assemble on site with a minimal maintenance programme, but  every part of the turbine and its venturi ducting can be lifted and carried by a single person should that be needed,  a great help in remote locations without road access.
