After a great deal of design and construction work, commissioning has started on the new water flow Test and Demonstration tank sited in Hastings, East Sussex, England,
.We still have hand rails and safety equipment along with the special test and recording equipment to be installed but hope to have much of the operational programme completed ready for the first Hales Turbine demostration units and other prototype testing in the New Year.
We already have time booked for a student at Kingston University, London, to trial his own design of tidal stream turbine prototype in the spring.
