SHOW TIME FOR HALES TURBINE

The first display of the Hales Turbine to the public at the Eco 2015 Technology Show, held at the Amex Stadium near Brighton , East Sussex, England  last week was a busy time for staff and helpers.

To help explain the basic difference between Tidal Range and Tidal Stream energy sources along with the Hales Turbine operation  at the show,   - HWT Ltd  used two laptops with continues Power Point loops .

Tidal Range , the rise and fall of sea water levels that produce Potential Energy,  rather like standard hydro dams and now being captured with Tidal Lagoon and Barrier designs.    Then Tidal Stream, the lateral moving flow of water found in tidal currents, rip tides, ocean currents , also river flows etc  that contains pure Kinetic Energy that can be captured with single or large farms of turbines and similar devices.

A large amount of time was given by staff to the viewing public explaining the UK's vast tidal potential for sustainable renewable energy and once understood , several invites were received to provide presentations to several of the many  Local Community self sustaining groups being started .
Several business contacts as far a field as China and South Africa showed interest in further talks.
